A Private Tel Aviv Tour Tailored to You
From the myth-soaked stone alleyways of Old Jaffa to the sleek geometry of Bauhaus buildings and the gleaming towers powering Israel's high-tech sector, Tel Aviv is a rare mix of past, present, and future you won’t find anywhere else in the Middle East.
Our inimitable vibe — where ancient history meets youthful dynamism and chaotic markets melt into beachy serenity — is at its peak with a local by your side. And as a lifelong Tel Avivi — born and raised — I love sharing the many sides of my hometown with curious guests.
On my private Tel Aviv tours, I bring visitors beyond the postcards to experience the easily overlooked elements of my city that make locals smile: ethnic food stalls and neighborhood cafés, historic churches and haimish synagogues, boutique design studios and quirky street art, calm sea coves and quiet stretches of sand. Whether you’re drawn to Jaffa’s mythology, Florentin's food culture, or Rothschild Boulevard's entrepreneurial pulse, your tour will be tailored to the parts of Tel Aviv that speak to you.

Recommended Tel Aviv Itinerary — Day Tour
Most travelers find that one full day is the perfect amount of time to take in Tel Aviv’s highlights at the relaxed, Mediterranean pace that defines the city.
I like to do my Tel Aviv tours in historically chronological order. And in the beginning of Tel Aviv, there was Jaffa — a Bronze Age port city that serves as the setting for some of the most famous stories in Judaism (the prophet Jonah’s voyage), Christianity (Peter’s vision at the house of Simon the Tanner), and Greek mythology (Andromeda chained to the rock). Winding through this city-turned-neighborhood's tiny alleys — from the flea market to the port — is a pleasantly disorienting experience.
Next, we'll head to the first Tel Aviv neighborhood built outside Jaffa — Neve Tzedek, now known for its eclectic mix of French, Russian, and Yemeni immigrants. Here, I'll welcome you into a local home (mine) and share firsthand stories of daily Tel Aviv life as it evolved through different eras of the city's development.
Our route then continues down Rothschild Boulevard, a world-renowned showcase of Bauhaus architecture that gives Tel Aviv its nickname, “The White City.” From there, we'll continue to the Carmel Market, which — like Jerusalem's shuk Mahane Yehuda — is the pulsing, energetic heart of modern Tel Aviv and home to some of Israel's best cuisine.
Time permitting, we'll end the day by heading north onto the picturesque promenade before closing on the same note we started with a visit to the Land of Israel Museum, regarded as one of the world’s best for biblical archaeology.
Day Trips from Tel Aviv
Tel Aviv is the ideal home base for exploring Israel — from here, you can reach dozens of natural wonders, archaeological sites, and spiritual landmarks in just a day. Three of the most popular Tel Aviv day trips I organize are:

Masada and Dead Sea Tour
Hike or ride the cable car up to Masada at sunrise to enjoy the desert fortress's breathtaking views. Then float on the mineral-rich waters of the Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth.

Jerusalem Old City Tour
Walk through thousands of years of faith and civilization as we explore the Western Wall, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the Temple Mount, and other cultural treasures that make Jerusalem's Old City unlike any other.

Caesarea, Haifa, and Akko Tour
Journey up Israel’s Mediterranean coast to the Roman-era port of Caesarea, the terraced Bahá'í Gardens in Haifa, and the Crusader fortresses and markets of Akko.
Tel Aviv Tour Price
My standard fee for a private Tel Aviv walking tour is $400 per day, per group. This fee is consistent no matter your group size, and it includes my services as a licensed guide, as well as pre-trip consultation to get a sense of which Tel Aviv sites will be of greatest interest to your tour group.
Please note that this price does not include additional expenses like meals or entrance fees to museums and attractions. These are usually paid separately unless we agree in advance on a different arrangement.
