As a private Israel tour guide with over 30 years of experience, it's my privilege to guide travelers from all walks of life — first-timers, returning visitors, solo adventurers, families, foodies, you name it.

Every itinerary is shaped around your interests, pace, and travel style, whether you're looking for:

  • Adrenaline-filled adventures, like skydiving over the Negev desert or multi-day cave treks

  • Family-friendly trips with gently paced activities for toddlers, teens, parents, and grandparents alike

  • Culinary tours that explore Israel’s traditional markets, street food, boutique wineries, local distilleries, wild fruits, and pub scene

  • Discreet luxury experiences for VIP travelers seeking both privacy and authenticity, blending five-star comfort with exclusive access to the country’s most spectacular sites

If you’re not sure where to begin, I recommend starting with my 9-day itinerary. It’s a thoughtfully designed journey through Israel’s essential highlights — Jerusalem, the Dead Sea, the Galilee, Tel Aviv — and a few hidden gems you won’t find in any guidebook.

Daniel, Los Angeles

"I asked to see the less touristic side of Israel, and Karl’s tour delivered — secluded beaches, amazing lookouts, and family-run restaurants with delicious food. But the highlight was picking wild figs in the Judean foothills — the kind of experience that captures Israel’s soul."

Israel Adventure Tour

Israel is well-known as a playground for history buffs, tech minds, and politics junkies. But an incredible range of landscapes makes our country paradise for lovers of the outdoors, too.

My recommended adventure tour combines three thrilling experiences that showcase Israel’s wilder side: rock climbing in the Judean desert, kayaking down the Jordan River, and caving in Beit Guvrin. Each activity can be adjusted to match your group’s age range, abilities, and pace.

Desert Rock Climbing

Near the Dead Sea, the Judean Desert’s steep gorges offer an exhilarating climb. Using ropes, ladders, and pegs, we'll scale rugged canyon walls while taking in sweeping desert views. It’s a unique way to explore Israel’s wild landscape and a perfect activity for outdoorsy travelers.

Jordan River Kayaking

The Jordan is more than holy water — it’s pure fun for water lovers of all ages. In addition to kayaking through the river's gentle rapids, the tour includes a scenic picnic stop, making it the perfect half-day escape.

Beit Guvrin Caving

Filled with ruins of 1,800-year-old underground cities, this lesser-traveled region of Israel is a caver’s dream. Thrill-seekers can navigate the cave network by crawling through narrow passageways and hidden tunnels, while archaeology buffs will marvel at the caves' burial paintings, inscriptions, and dove nests.

Israel Tour Prices

My base rate for a private tour of Israel is $400 per day, per group. This includes my services as a licensed tour guide, along with basic planning support.

Please note: This daily rate does not include the cost of hotels, meals, fuel, or attractions' entrance fees, which are usually billed separately unless otherwise arranged.

For small groups (up to four people), I also organize Israel tour packages for an additional fee. This includes designing your custom Israel tour itinerary, booking your vehicle, reserving tickets to all scheduled sites, and arranging delicious meals according to your dietary preferences.

For big groups, I’ll refer you to a trusted travel agency to coordinate your tour's logistics, though I'll gladly serve as your tour guide.
